Cape Arkona:
Slawi temple:
The temple castle of Arkona - one the most important Heiligtümer of the Slawen - was because of the northernmost point of the NB - at the NO point of the island Rügen. The cult plant was inside a castle, in 8. - 9. Jhdt. one established. One can constitute the castle barrier in the area still well. Here remainders were found by victim meals and animal and people victims with excavations.
Today the remainders of the temple castle are destroyed completely gradually by the Baltic Sea.

Blengow:
Bowl stone:
On Deckstein of a to a large extent destroyed Megalithgrabes are several clearly scooped out dished plates and 3 wheel crosses. The stone lies today beside the former grave chamber. The probably ritual function of the dished plates becomes duch the wheel crosses interpreted as sun symbol strengthened, which are only small into the plate side 220 cm of the long Findlings from granite however. By the best one to recognize they are in damp weather.

A legend told, here was petrified a wedding company. This occurred itself by the fact that the whole society did not take the warning of a man so extensively to celebrate not seriously and thereupon with a clap of thunder was petrified.
A scene of ritual dances is assumed here. On a sign at the “Mecklenburger stone dance” is to be read: “The place served the Teutons before 3000 years as cult place.”
4 stone circles, which consist ever of 9 free standing Stones.
The stones are up to 190 cm high and their smooth surface always point to the circle center. The largest stone - the “bride drawer” - has 13 recesses, which are pointed as reference to a pre-historical calendar stone.
Already since 1765 the stone dance is called of the population victim cult and court place. 1928 only developed the hypothesis that the stone circles had an astronomical meaning. Doppelstein in circle 3 is considered as visor, from which detection lines proceed.
The stone dance is compared also gladly by Archäoastronomen with Stonehenge.

Largely Raden:
1000jähriger temple place:

Here ist one of the best temples of the Nordwestslawen was found. The building method that Cult-resounds could by experts in almost all details be examined and reconstructed.
The external walls were verziert with 3 m high planks from oak, which carried stylized female and male heads at the upper end. The ritual meaning could be confirmed not least by narrow handling railing. Handling temples are well-known from the Keltenzeit. On both sides of the entrance Stelen with heads, horse heads - so-called Kultrösser - and a cup from clay/tone (the priest awarded) were found.
The cult place became after its destruction in 10. Jhdt. into the castle “moves”, which was established on the small pre-aged island. The highest Heiligtum of the slawischen Warnower (federation of the Obotriten) was obviously bound to this place at the Sternberger lake. (Comparable cult place was found only in Arkona). Since an only 1 m broad stairs led into the round of the temple castle, it is accepted that only chose the Heiligtum to occur were allowed.
The area of the temple place changed over since the Christianisierung into the possession the church.
Temple castle and cult-resounds can in the summer months be visited.

Parchim:
Cult-resounds:
Those cult-resounds is a building of gap planks of 12,6 m x 11.4 m length and stood at the end one with bars of limited sand way. It resembles the temple of largely Raden in the sketch. A handling temple. It can be said that the inside cult-resounds cleanly with sand was coated and in the center large stones was. The excavated post remainders point to strong stakes in stone packings. At the entrance to the temple post remainders, 2 lance points and a Kastrierzange were found: From the old chronicles it is well-known that white kastrierte Hengste served with pointing legends as medium, by being led across lances. The remnants of the plant are good to recognize.
The fastened market settlement became around 1100 n. Chr. destroyed and was because of one of the most important trade routes of Magdeburg to the Baltic Sea. Ebo - a chronicler - wrote that in connection with the market once religious celebrations were held “gladly, Schmausen and Götzenverehrung”.

Tollensesee:
Fischer island:
An impressive certification of the cult of the Slawen was found on the Fischer island in the Tollensesee with new Brandenburg:wooden idol with approx. 1.7 m height from oak trunk. With this God portrait from a settlement of the 11. /12. Jhdt. for the first time a  wooden cult picture was proven (like it e.g. in medieval chronicles one described).
Somewhat more south, in the Lieps, on the largest island Hanfwerder, was opened a cult building.

Field mountain:
Lock mountain:
Over the Luzinsee - one of the most beautiful places of Mecklenburg - was during 7. and 8. Jhdt. within a fastened settlement a cult place. It is even assumed the fact that itself on the lock mountain the Heiligtum Rethra delivered by Adam of Bremen and Thietmar von Merseburg, which famous lutizische temple castle - which could not be determined despite 200jähriger efforts until today - finds.
Remainders of the castle barrier of slawischer roots are still good to recognize. The building, which is regarded as cult place with temple - was defined opposite the settlement by a flat ditch. More than 1000 years ago here a path led lake lain below to that 27 m from.
Description of way: Berlin E251 direction N - > in prince mountain after O direction Prenzlau - > in Lychen after N - > with free mountain the lock mountain rises over the broad Luzinsee (with steep rock slope to the lake).
